COVID-19 Updates

We have come a long way through COVID-19 pandemic but we understand we are not quite on the other side of it yet. On April 9th, the Governor let the mask mandate and the “safer at home” order expire and instated a “safer apart” order in its place. Read the official “safer apart” order here.

We have continued to honor the Governor’s orders as it is written in the safer apart order which means masks are not required of guests at our resort as long as a guest is not within a 6 foot distance from guests of another household. We also reopened all public hot tubs, sauna and steam rooms, the playground, and shared rental equipment including bicycles and tennis equipment. All occupancy restrictions at outlets and amenities were also lifted.

Although the “safer at home” order is expiring, we understand that COVID-19 is still a threat and will continue to be until herd immunity is reached. We will depend on our guests’ cooperation in sanitizing often and respecting other people’s personal space as well as their general behavior and discipline when not wearing a mask.

We will continue to remain vigilant in our efforts to protect guests, team members, and owners by following the Governor’s “safer apart” order, and by executing the following:

Resort

  • CDC-approved cleaning products and protocols which meet EPA guidelines are used throughout the resort.
  • High-touch areas and items are cleaned and disinfected often.
  • The Clean Bed Guarantee ensures all coverlets are freshly laundered prior to every arrival.
  • All new check-ins receive hand sanitizer.

Onsite Dining

  • Tables are socially distanced. Disposable menus are being used.
  • Takeout is available.
  • Six feet distance between guests is required.
  • Doors, restrooms and all other regularly touched surfaces are being sanitized often.

Amenities & Activities

Social distancing is in place at all amenities and outlets.

  • Activities in which 6 feet of distance cannot be observed will be pre-packaged for guests to do in their rooms. Grab your to go package from the D tower front desk.
  • Beach chair rentals will be spaced 6 feet apart.
  • Pools are open. This includes indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms– please maintain social distancing in all areas. 
  • Tennis courts remain closed due to repairs following Hurricane Sally.
  • The playground is reopened. Social distancing is encouraged.
