Spectrum Resorts understands that the safety concerns of our guests are real and are of the utmost importance. In addition to our current, rigorous cleaning practices, the Spectrum Resorts’ team has implemented additional protocols to help protect your family. While we are committed to making sure you enjoy your time at the beach, our team is also committed to cleanliness.

In addition, you can refer to the CDC’s website for specific information on the virus. Spectrum Resorts is following the guidance of the CDC for its policies regarding COVID-19.

Vacation Rental Cleaning Protocols

  • Our resort uses CDC-approved cleaning products and protocols which meet EPA guidelines and are approved for use and effective against viruses, bacteria and other airborne and bloodborne pathogens.
  • We will be paying particular attention to high-touch items such as light switches, door handles, furniture, remotes, water faucet handles, nightstands, telephones, in-room control panels, alarm clocks, luggage racks and flooring.
  • The Clean Bed Guarantee ensures all coverlets are freshly laundered prior to every arrival. Other vacation rental management companies only launder comforters and coverlets quarterly or a few times a year. Sealed linen bags are also used.
  • All vacation rentals received an extensive deep clean in April.

Additional Cleaning Initiatives Throughout the Resort

  • We will also continue to adhere to social distancing in all areas.
  • At restaurants, we will be using disposable menus or sanitizing menus in between uses.
  • Public self-service coffee and water stations are temporarily suspended.

What’s Open and Hours of Operation

Things are rapidly changing as new mandates from Governor Kay Ivey and CDC guidelines are provided. This is the most recent information. We will publish updates as they arise.

  • The beaches are OPEN! Beach chairs sets will be spaced six feet apart. No items can be left on the beach past sunset. Social Distancing protocols are in place. Limited chair rentals are available.
  • Pools: The indoor and outdoor pools are open daily and close at 10pm. Social distancing protocols are in place. Indoor pools are open daily and close at 10pm. Social distancing protocols are in place. No pool reservations are required. The indoor pool area hot tubs are closed. The sauna and steam rooms will remain closed.
  • The Lazy River: The Lazy River is open daily from 10am-4pm. No lazy river reservations will be required. Attendants will allocate all floats. Social distancing protocols will be in place.
  • The playground is temporarily closed
  • The Fitness Center is open. Some equipment will not be available in order to accommodate social distancing.
  • Change of Pace Change of Pace is open daily 11am-8pm. No barstool service will be available. Limited table seating will be available. Carryout is available.
  • The Spectrum Club Lounge will serve takeout complimentary breakfast daily from 7-10am. The Lounge will close after breakfast for the remainder of the day. Restrooms, door handles and any surfaces regularly touched by team members and guests will be sanitized throughout the morning.
  • Tennis: No rental equipment will be available until the all-clear is given. Door handles and other surfaces will be sanitized once an hour.
  • Public self-service coffee and water stations are temporarily suspended.
  • We are encouraging social distancing in all elevators. Elevator buttons will be sanitized at least once every hour.
  • We will continue to adhere to social distancing in all areas.

We hope to see you again when you’re ready and it’s safe to do so.  You’ve waited all year for your beach vacation. Secluded beaches, spacious condos and sunshine are good for the soul. You can still rest easy at Turquoise Place when you book direct with Spectrum Resorts. Our updated booking policies mean you and your vacation are protected.

  1. Book online or talk directly to a Spectrum Resorts team member and get answers to your most important questions. Call 855-266-5471.
  2. Rest easy with our 100% refund policy on any reservations booked on or after May 25, 2020 and arriving on or before June 30, 2020. Guests must give a seven-day notice of cancelation in order to receive this complete refund. Our normal policy requires a 45-day notice of cancelation, but due to concerns regarding COVID-19 we are shortening that window to seven days so our guests are able to be more flexible in this rapidly changing situation.
  3. Optional travel insurance is available on your reservation.
  4. Our team members live and work where you play. We are invested in your vacation and ensuring you have the best possible experience with your family. We recognize the importance of family time and believe the world would be a better place if everyone spent a few days each year reconnecting and creating happy memories.
