COVID-19 Updates

In response to the recent order from Alabama Governor Kay Ivey, Turquoise Place will implement the following:

  • The beach will be closed effective March 19 at 5 p.m. and will reopen on April 30
  • The following amenities/outlets are closed at least until April 30: Club Lounge, Cabana 8, lazy river, all pools, sauna, steam room, fitness centers and playground.
  • Change of Pace will serve carryout only. No cocktails may be served, but beer and wine will be available. The Club Lounge hours are 11am-2pm daily.
  • All activities are suspended until further notice.

Spectrum Resorts understands that the safety concerns of our guests are real and are of the utmost importance. We hope you will join us when it’s safe to do so.

We are happy to offer a 100% refund to any guests wishing to cancel due to coronavirus concerns. You can also reschedule your trip without losing your deposit. In addition, we have compiled a list of resort information regarding the virus, as well as steps we are taking for the safety of our guests. If your question is not answered here, please feel free to call guest services at 855-266-5471 and we will be happy to assist you. In addition, you can refer to the CDC’s website for specific information on the virus. Spectrum Resorts is following the guidance of the CDC for its policies regarding COVID-19.

How We’re Helping to Protect Our Guests

Things are rapidly changing as new mandates from Governor Kay Ivey and CDC guidelines are provided and this is the most recent information. We will publish updates as they arise.

  • The resort is using hospital-grade disinfectant recommended by the CDC to fight COVID-19 throughout the resort. 
  • The Clean Bed Guarantee ensures all duvets are freshly laundered prior to every arrival. Other vacation rental management companies only launder comforters and coverlets quarterly or a few times a year.
  • Change of Pace Bar & Grill will be enforcing Governor Kay Ivey’s mandates for social distancing and is only open for carryout. All food and beverage orders must be taken back to guest rooms. Furthermore, we cannot sell mixed drinks at this time, but beer and wine are available for sale. Hours are 11am-2pm.
  • Disposable menus will be used for take-out service.
  • Until further notice, The Club Lounge is closed.
  • Sanitation stations/wipes will be available in the lobbies and cart area as supply allows. We’ll be restocking supplies as quickly as possible. -CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK
  • Grocery delivery is temporarily suspended.

Q: Is the resort open and are all amenities on property still open, including pools and dining?

A: Yes, the resort is open, however, the following outlets and amenities are closed until April 30: lazy river, all pools, sauna, steam room, fitness centers and playground, Club Lounge, Cabana Eight. Change of Pace Bar & Grill is OPEN for takeout only from 11am-2pm. At this time we cannot sell mixed drinks, only beer and wine.

Q: Are local businesses closing, including grocery stores?

A: Currently, grocery stores are open, but some are operating on limited hours. All restaurants are take-out only. Many non-essential businesses and attractions are closed until April 30. For an updated list of area restaurant updates, visit here. For an updated attraction list, visit here.

Q: Are the beaches open?

Q: Will I receive a notification if the resort closes or if there are any changes?

A: Yes, in the unlikely event the resort closes, you will receive an email if you have an existing reservation.

Q: Do we have hand sanitizer?

A: Sanitation stations/wipes will be available in the lobbies as supply allows. We’ll be restocking supplies as quickly as possible. We are currently out of stock as of 3/20.
