Skip the line by filling out the check in form on the app. To access your door code, click on the Door Code tile. When it’s time for you to leave, fill out the check out form on the app. That’s it!


Resort Information

The Resort section of our app includes all of the important information about the amenities at Turquoise Place, including resort hours, dining options, activities schedule, local weather and more.


Service Request Feature

If you have a housekeeping or maintenance request during your stay, navigate to the Service Request tile under the My Stay section and fill out the form. Someone from our team will be in contact with you to complete the request.


Eventzee

Digital scavenger hunt for all guests – complete photo and video challenges and earn prizes as you earn points.


Trip Planning Tools

For those of you who love to plan, the Turquoise Place app is the perfect vacation tool. Our Explore Area tile identifies nearby transportation, local attractions, restaurants, shopping destinations, medical facilities and more. You’ll have a full vacation itinerary in no time!

Check-in Time: 4 p.m.

Pre Check-in

Pre Check-in is done via the mobile app. Simply select “Check-in”, fill out the information then go by the desk starting at 4 p.m. (or 1 p.m. if you purchased early arrival) to get your key.


Early Arrivals/ Late Departures

The early arrival and late departure fees for Turquoise Place are $100 each. Please request early arrivals and late departures 24 hours or more prior to arrival. Early arrivals/late departures are requested through the Spectrum Resorts app.


After-Hour Arrivals

Running a little late? Rental Office hours for check-in is 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. with hours extended to 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. during high occupancy. If you arrive after the Rental Office has closed for the evening, simply proceed to the Security Station, located at the entrances of each tower, where Security will check you in for the evening. If you did not complete Pre Check-in, stop by the front desk the following morning, before 11 a.m., to complete registration.


Unit Availability

Spectrum Resorts makes every effort to keep reservations according to requested specifications whenever possible. However, such requests are not always possible to accommodate. In such cases where unit assignments are moved, substitutions will be as similar to that of the original accommodations, including size and location, where possible. Spectrum Resorts reserves the right to change unit assignments without notice. No refunds or reservation discounts will be given due to changes in amenities (i.e. grills in units, pools, hot tubs) or furnishings (i.e. bed sizes).


Housekeeping

Any housekeeping concerns that you have should be reported within two hours from check-in. You may make a housekeeping request through the Spectrum Resorts app by navigating to the “My Stay” section and selecting the “Service Request” tile.


Maintenance

Any maintenance concerns that you have within your unit should be reported within two hours from check-in, where possible. Though every effort will be made to correct the working order of any in-unit appliances, air conditioners, TV’s, VCR’s, cable, etc. and/or resort amenities, including pools and hot tubs, we do not guarantee their availability or service. You may make a maintenance request through the Spectrum Resorts app by navigating to the “My Stay” section and selecting the “Service Request” tile.

Check-Out Time: 10 a.m.

When that time comes where you have to leave us, we want it to be easy. Here are a few small things to do in the unit upon departure:

  1. Load and start the dishwasher.
  2. Remove all trash. Trash chute on each end of every hallway.
  3. Turn off all lights.

Check-out by selecting “Check-out” on the Spectrum Resorts mobile app. Fill out the form and that’s it! We do not need your wristbands back and a receipt of charges will be emailed to you.


Cleaning Fee

A departure cleaning fee is charged for each stay. However, if the unit is unusually soiled such as stains on carpet, furniture, blemishes/gouges in wall(s), etc., your credit card will be charged the appropriate amount for the damages and any fees to bring the unit back up to the condition it was in upon your arrival.


Unit Condition

Spectrum Resorts requests each guest to take a measure of care with the residing unit. Upon departing the unit, we ask that you dispose of trash in the proper depository and load the dishwasher. Units will be inspected upon departure for cleanliness and damage. Units where excessive cleaning is required may result in additional cleaning fees being applied to your reservation. Damage charges will be assessed after departure and upon appropriate cost determination being made.


Lost & Found

Spectrum Resorts is not responsible for items left in properties or common areas. Retrieved items will be returned at Guest’s expense.


Late Departure

Unauthorized extensions beyond this time will result in twice the amount of rental stated for each additional day according to published daily rates. Spectrum Management reserves the right to take possession of the residence in the event of non-payment and/or holdover. It is vital that checkout be strictly observed so housekeeping can prepare the residences for incoming guests. Late departure fee is $100 and can be requested via the app. However, a late departure is not guaranteed.

Your SpectrumBand™ wristband is your VIP access for:

  • Full access to the VIP exclusive Spectrum Club Lounge (open seasonally)
  • The key to your room and beach access gates
  • A cashless experience with resort charging
  • VIP discount of 10% off all on-site purchases when you charge using your SpectrumBand (Not applicable on alcoholic beverages)
  • Complimentary access to resort activities (some special activities may require a small fee)
All accommodations come with a starter amenity package. Each bathroom and kitchen will include one of each:

  • Toilet paper roll
  • Travel-size shampoo and conditioner
  • Bath soap bar
  • Package of coffee and coffee filter
  • Single-use laundry detergent pack
  • Travel-size dishwashing liquid
  • Single-use dishwasher detergent
  • One trash bag per trash can

Complimentary Beach Towels

Save your linens and space in your luggage, because beach towels for resort usage are provided with every Spectrum Resorts guest’s stay. Each room is stocked with the following:

  • 3 Bedroom – 6 Towels
  • 4 Bedroom – 8 Towels
  • 5 Bedroom – 10 Towels

If additional towels are required during your stay, they can be purchased from Cabana 8, our onsite retail store.


Phone / Internet / Television Service

Free local calls, access to high speed Internet and television service are included in all units.

Mid-Stay Cleaning Services

Cleaning includes making beds with clean linens, cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture, sweeping/mopping floors, vacuuming carpet, cleaning stove top and countertops in kitchen, and cleaning patio windows and floors. Also includes towel exchange and amenities.

Towel & Tidy Service

Service includes making beds with existing linens, cleaning toilets, placing a new roll of tissue in each bathroom, exchanging all bath towels, wash cloths, hand towels, etc. and removing trash.

Aquatics Hot Tub Services

To ensure a great stay here at Turquoise Place, a member of our Aquatics Team will be coming by your condo daily to perform routine testing on your unit’s hot tub.

During servicing, your hot tub technician may deem it necessary for your hot tub to be drained and refilled during your stay. This is due to chemicals not balancing properly, or the hot tub being cloudy and green. If this is the case, the hot tub will reopen the following day after receiving a drain and refill. This is our water management protocol to keep all tubs on property clean and properly balanced.

How to Operate Your Hot Tub

To make sure your hot tub is operating properly, follow this step-by-step tutorial.

Turning On The Hot Tub

  1. Make sure the hot tub is plugged in and turned on.
  2. If you see that the tub is plugged in and has no power, this may be due to a flipped fuse. To make sure the fuse didn’t flip, go to the breaker box in the laundry room and make sure everything looks correct. If you see that the breaker has flipped, please flip back to the correct position.

Functions & Modes

  1. Temperature: You will find the temperature gauge at the front of your hot tub (up & down arrows). We recommend the tub stay around 100-102 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Due to hot summer months, hot tubs are prone to overheating. During this time, we recommend turning the temperature down to 90 degrees Fahrenheit and leave the hot tub cover off while the tub cools down.
  2. Jets and Water Features: You will the “Pump” button at the front of your hot tub. When you push this button, the jets will pump continuously for 30 minutes. You can also turn on the water features to your tub. There will be 4 knobs on each corner of the tub. Simply turn the knobs and the water features will begin to work.
  3. LED Lights: You will find the Light button at the front of the tub. When you push this button, the light will turn on. To change the lights, continue to push the Light button until you find your preference.
  4. Modes:
    • Standard Mode: This is the mode we are always wanting your tub to be running on. If you see that it is not in standard mode “St”, it’s an easy fix. Simply push the up arrow and the light button and the modes will change.
    • Economy Mode: Heats the hot tub to the set temperature only during filter cycles. “EC” will display when the water temp is not current, and will alternate with the water temp when the pump is running.
    • Sleep Mode: Heats the hot tub within 20 degrees Fahrenheit/10 degrees Celsius of the set temperature only during filtered cycles. “SL” will display when the water temp is not current and will alternate with water temp when the pump is running.

Upon arrival you must provide identification and sign a Registration Card, a binding legal document, verifying that you are an adult who is at least 25 years of age and financially responsible for any damage made by parties present during your occupancy dates. Any reservation made under false pretense will result in eviction with loss of advance rent and/or all rent and associated charges.

The use of all facilities are at the risk of the user(s). Spectrum Beach Club Management, LLC will not be held liable for any damage to vehicles, and/or personal injury while on property.


Payment and Cancellation Schedule

Payments

Reservations require a deposit according to the schedule on the chart above at the time of booking. A credit card will need to be on file to secure your reservation. Spectrum Resorts reserves the right to contact the guest prior to or upon arrival with any rate/fee adjustments that are found due to an incorrect reservation being made and the reservation final amount due will be changed. Spectrum Resorts accepts traveler’s checks and all major credit cards.


Charges

Among the charges found on your confirmation are Rent, Cleaning Fee, Resort Fee, and taxes. Resort Fee is charged whether or not the amenities are used. No refund is given for early departures. Unbilled nights are not eligible for refund. Weekly/Monthly rates revert back to Daily/Weekly rates if departure date changes.


Security Deposit Waiver Fee

Included with your Resort Fee is a Security Deposit Waiver. This fee pays for accidental damage only. Damages must be reported to the front desk prior to your departure. Spectrum Resorts will not be held liable for any loss or damage to any property owned by or brought onto our premises by any guest or persons accompanying them. Guests or persons accompanying them will be held responsible for damages to the residence they occupy for damage/loss of property if it is due to gross negligence or willful conduct.


Changes and Cancellations

Reservations are subject to the cancellation schedule in the chart above. Changes to reservations including date change or condo changes may not be made within 45 days of arrival. No refunds will be issued inside the cancellation date for any reason including mandatory hurricane evacuation, illness, etc. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND PURCHASING TRAVEL INSURANCE. Read the policy HERE. False pretenses given will result in cancellation of reservations by Spectrum Beach Club Management, LLC and appropriate cancellation fees will be charged to your credit card. All changes are subject to minimum stay requirements.


No Pets and No Smoking

All Spectrum-Managed units are non-smoking and pets are not allowed in any rental units. If evidence of smoking and/or pet(s) is discovered, violating guests will be subject to eviction and forfeiture of the entire rental payment, and your credit card will be charged to bring the unit back up to the condition it was in upon your arrival. Violating guests will be responsible for paying for the property to be sprayed for fleas (if a pet is found), the carpet cleaned and a deep clean (including laundering all bed linens and other upholstery and drapes) performed on the unit.

Leave Only Footprints

Turquoise Place has joined the community initiative of Leave Only Footprints to protect our beautiful beaches and provide guests with pristine beach views. Enacted by the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach municipalities in 2016, Leave Only Footprints asks all patrons that anything brought to the beach is taken with you once you are done enjoying the sand for the day. For disposable items, there are multiple trash receptacles placed throughout the beach for your convenience. Please note that any items left on the beach after sunset will be removed and disposed at sunset in compliance with mandatory U.S. Fish and Wildlife regulations. Not only do we want our guests to safely enjoy the beach, but we also want to protect the habitat of many endangered sea turtles, birds, and marine animal species that share our beach. We apologize if this is an inconvenience, but hope you understand the benefits this has for our environment.


Resort Management

All Spectrum Resorts units are individually owned. Spectrum Resorts manages these units on behalf of these owners. Consequently, we reserve the right to enter into a unit at any time for any maintenance or inspection need, or when showing to prospective buyers.
We reserve the right to refuse rental, or to discontinue occupancy if, in our judgment, your occupancy is detrimental to the property and/or other guests. No refunds or credit will be given in the event of eviction due to failure to comply with the property rules and regulations.

Spectrum Club Lounge

When you book with Spectrum Resorts at Turquoise Place you are a VIP guest, so you should be treated like one. Get the full Spectrum Experience with our onsite amenity, the Spectrum Club Lounge. The Spectrum Club Lounge is open seasonally and is exclusive to Spectrum guests only and provides you with:

  • A complimentary continental breakfast served daily from 7 a.m. – 10 a.m (seasonal).
  • Ping pong, Billiard tables, video gaming stations

To ensure all our guests have a wonderful and safe experience at Turquoise Place, we have outlined the specific rules for each of our outlets and amenities. These guidelines help maintain the quality and enjoyment of our facilities. Please take a moment to review the rules listed below for each outlet and amenity. This information will assist you in planning your visit and provide answers to any questions you may have.

Our local experts have agreed on a few important tips to remember regarding your drive to Turquoise Place.

  • Saturday is the busiest day for traffic during summer, especially times between 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. If possible, avoid a check-in or check-out on Saturday to save on drive-time.
  • Skip Highway 59, and take the Baldwin Beach Express. Travelers can access the Baldwin Beach Express from Exit 49 from Interstate 10. There are less congested traffic lights.

Transportation Options

  • Uber and Lyft are now available in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.
  • Local car rentals are available through Coastal Car Rental with the option to have the car delivered.

All guests are subject to a Guest Vehicle Registration fee of $100, or $50.00 per vehicle per stay for up to TWO vehicles. This fee is included in the reservation amount and must be paid in advance at the time of booking. Parking onsite in the garage is only guaranteed for up to 2 vehicles registered in advance. Any vehicles not registered in advance are subject to the overflow parking fees, BASED ON AVAILABILITY.

We have four EV spaces available on the 2nd level of the Overflow Parking Garage to charge up to 4 vehicles at one time.

*1st Vehicle fee is mandatory.
*2nd Vehicle fee is optional unless guest would like to park 2nd Vehicle in garage.


Lost or Stolen Parking Passes

Lost or stolen parking passes will not be replaced. Instead, you will be required to purchase one of the overflow parking passes as listed above


Oversized Vehicles

There is limited parking for oversized vehicles on the lobby level. Clearance for oversized vehicles is 6’8″. The following vehicle types are prohibited from parking on property or in any of our overflow parking lots:

  • RVs and campers (this includes Sprinter vans with hook ups)
  • Trailers
  • Buses
  • Boats and Jet Skis
  • Off road vehicles
  • Any vehicle which, in the sole discretion of Spectrum Resorts COA Management Team, is of a size too large for a parking space to accommodate.

Spectrum Resorts has partnered with Red Sky Travel Insurance to provide Sun Trip Preserver® coverage for our guests. Sun Trip Preserver provides cancellation and interruption services as well as emergency assistance and travel services. Protect yourself in the event of hurricane evacuations and family emergencies such as illness or death in the family. The travel insurance is optional and the cost is 7.75% of your total reservation stay. This premium is non-refundable after 14 days of purchase.

Must be purchased at least 48 hours in advance of stay.

If traveling from outside of the United States, travel insurance is not valid until you have entered the United States.
